Chipped, crooked or oddly-shaped teeth can be corrected with
Porcelain Veneers, Cosmetic Tooth Bonding or Teeth Reshaping
One of the easiest ways to treat teeth that are too small, too big or have uneven surfaces is by placing veneers over the tooth or teeth. It is very common for people to have imperfect teeth, either oddly shaped teeth, chipped teeth, crooked teeth, teeth with small holes in them, or an inappropriate sized tooth or teeth that have an odd appearance. Veneers, porcelain or plastic, are placed over the front teeth to change the color and shape of the teeth. Veneers solve such irregularities and create a durable and pleasing smile.
What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin porcelain facings that are fabricated in the lab. on a model of your teeth and are then bonded onto your teeth in our office. Though your own teeth may be chipped, irregularly shaped, placed out of proper line and position, have spaces, be discolored, have discolored and defective enamel and fillings, with porcelain veneers we can line them up perfectly and improve the shape, size and shade of the teeth to give you a smile that you will be proud of flaunting in front of everybody.
In order to make the porcelain veneers in the lab. we take an impression (mould) of your teeth after we have made slight modifacations and improvements to your own natural teeth. These changes can usually be done without any anesthesia. In fact, we can usually do the entire process of getting you a better smile without any needles.
